Kai and Jax – Huskies

Kai, is a seven-year-old husky, who was adopted from another rescue as a two year old. Jax, his brother from another mother is just 2 years of age.

The family are devastated at having to give them up for adoption due to a sudden change in the family’s circumstances, have told us all about them.

Kai is a gentle giant, known for his calm demeanor and friendly nature towards other dogs. Kai is incredibly well-behaved, causing no damage around the house, and he adores his treats. A few years ago, he underwent successful cataract surgery at the Eye Vet in Runcorn, restoring his vision. Kai delights in playing with balls and spending time in local fields, indulging in games of fetch.

Jax, who was adopted as a puppy, has proven to be a delightful addition to our family. He craves affection and enjoys being in the company of his humans, often sticking close to Kai when we are not around. Jax is an outgoing and sociable dog, displaying no aggression towards other dogs during his interactions. He is incredibly affectionate, thriving on love and attention from those around him.

We are looking for a family for the two boys who have experience of huskies or similar Spitz breeds. A well-fenced garden and lots of exercise will suit both of these lovely dogs. A family with someone around most of the time and one with older children (high school age) simply because they haven’t lived with very young children. They get on well with other breeds of dogs when they meet and would really suit a keen hiking or running family.
