Lucy – Rehomed

[singlepic id=12255 w=320 h=240 float=left]Lucy is a medium sized lurcher of about 3 years of age.  She came to the branch in July, heavily pregnant and gave birth to 7 healthy puppies the following week.   All her puppies have now been reserved and Lucy is hoping that she too will soon be offered a caring forever family home.   She will be ready to go to live with her forever family soon.

This is what Lucy would say if she could talk

I’m Lucy and I haven’t had the best start in life.  In fact, up until now, I don’t think it could be considered a life.

Anyway, things have changed, I have a soft comfy bed, as much food as I can eat, clean water and humans who speak softly to me.  I was made to have several litters of pups but all that’s coming to an end. Iv just raised my last ever litter. I’m about 3 or 4 years old. I’m kind and gentle, although in my past I was made to chase and catch small furry animals so I need to learn that has to stop.

I desperately want to find a loving family who will love me and show me how life should be. They will need to be patient with me as I’m quite nervous of loud noises and scared of lots of things. My foster mum is helping me to overcome my fears and I am getting better by the day. I love other dogs and can play chase with them for hours. I just need a second chance.”

If you would like to meet Lucy please don’t hesitate to make and appointment by contacting the branch.
