Just before the last of her stitches were removed

Lucky, who is a 9 year old little girl, came into branch care having been hiding in a local garden.  She was found with horrendous collar injuries having both her front legs trapped through her collar.  Just how long this little cat had suffered we don’t know.  However, thanks to one of our local veterinary surgeons at Manchester Vets, in Denton, she was operated on to remove the embedded collar and to have her wound , which was all round her little body, cleaned and stitched.  We have found in the past that many of these injuries take a long time to heal having to be operated on several times the get back to healthy skin which knit together fully but thanks to the skills of her surgeon, the excellent nursing care of her fosterer with a few weeks she has been given the all clear.

This video shows just how happy Lucky is now her stitches have all been removed. If you can offer little Lucky a forever new home please ring Elaine on 07764514095 to arrange to meet her.

Her adopters need to be aware that her left eye which has been injured in the past will never clear but doesn’t give her any pain and will not need to be removed.  She was neutered in the past but has now been microchipped and received her first vaccination.
