Lacey – Rehomed

[singlepic id=7398 w=320 h=240 float=left]Lacey is a 3 year old crossbreed with a shiny, dark brindle coat.  She came to the RSPCA to find a new home from an Inspector and has spent quite a long time in kennels waiting for the outcome of her court case.  She has now come to our branch to try to find a new home in the North West.

Although Lacey is a little bit nervous when she first meets new people, once she is introduced she likes to be friends and is a lovely, gentle girl.  She gets on well with other dogs and doesn’t seem too bothered with cats, so she should settle well into a home where there are other animals in the family.

Lacey knows basic commands such as sit and come but still pulls on the lead until she settles down when out walking. She has been found to be a good traveler, settling down quickly and dozing during a one hour drive.  Lacey likes to play with her toys and loves to chase balls.

Lacey will benefit from further training and, because she has been kennels for so long, will probably need house-training.  We are looking for a family with large dog experience and with a large garden where she can run around to her heart’s content.  Lacey will be best in an adult only home or one with teenage children and where she won’t be left alone for more than 4 hours.
