The RSPCA has campaigned for reform of dog legislation since the introduction of the Dangerous Dogs Act in 1991. Gavin Grant, the RSPCA chief executive, gave his take on things in a ‘My View’ column printed in the article which launched the campaign.

Hopefully The Sun Newspaper’s campaign will put even more pressure onto the Government to introduce legislation that tackles irresponsible dog owners, rather than demonizing the dogs themselves.
