Watson – Rehomed

Meet Watson who is looking for his Sherlock. He is a large but soft-centred, 5 year old, German Shepherd, who is really great with children, but best with over 8s as he is quite big and bouncy so could knock little ones over.

He doesn’t bark when people call at the door and is house-trained and can be left for a few hours (but not excessively). Watson loves playing with his ball and ….. anyone else’s ball given the chance.

Watson is a gentle giant but can pull on his lead when he sees other dogs and can be reactive to those who bark at him, especially small dogs.

His pet hates are cats, birds, loud motorbikes and large vehicles such as HGVs and the odd bus. His fosterers are working with him to overcome this.

Watson loves nothing better than to be your shadow, he loves to follow you around the house and is very polite sitting and staying to wait patiently to be served his dinner. He isn’t food protective and his recall seems good but he has only been off lead in an enclosed dog field.

He loves to sit a the window and watch the world go by, he likes to broaden his horizons by watching TV, especially sports programmes and those about animals.

He has recently been neutered and was a real gentleman with his surgeons, letting them poke and prod him to their hearts’ content.
