Meet our rather chubby girl, Bonita. As you can see she does need to lose rather a lot of weight. Our question is are you up to the task? Could you resist those pleading eyes at the dinner table?

Bonita (Bonnie for short) will be best as an only dog in a home with no other animals. One with older children over 9 as she can be giddy and knock people over in her excitement.

She can be reactive to other dogs on walks by barking at them but still wagging her tail.

She will need a family who like to walk but who are prepared to build up her exercise gradually increasing her walks as she loses more weight to avoid straining her joints.
