This is Romy, who at only 14/15 months of age is looking for his forever family. He is a very affectionate but does have some separation anxiety and as a result we are looking for a home where there is someone around for most of the time and, ideally, where there is another hound in the family, to show him the ropes.

Access to a private, secure garden or yard will help him to learn to toilet outside as it seems that he hasn’t been shown any house rules.

Please read up on dachshunds and their needs as they are such special dogs who will not do well in a home or garden with steep steps or stairs due to their long bodies and short legs.
