Roux – Rehomed

[singlepic id=5003 w=320 h=240 float=left]Roux is what is known as a Puggle, that is a cross Pug with a Beagle.   She is approx 2 years old and is full of energy and just like a typical young dog can be mischievous is left alone for too long.   She would suit an active family one with dog experience as the Beagle side in her makes her quite a little madam when she does not want to do something.  Roux is currently in a foster home and this is what they have to say about her.

She is a loyal and loving family member who enjoys the company of everything (human or animal). She is very adaptive with her exercise routine and will settle for one short walk or roaming the countryside for the day. She loves her ball and swimming which was a big surprise.  She  socializes well with every animal she meets; she lives with 2 cats and regularly plays tug and chase with other dogs.

Roux is easily excited about new people and places which can lead to little puddles or tugging on her lead. Roux has lived happily with our family which includes 3  children of primary school age to college teenager. I have found that she hides behind me when preschool children approach her.  She has never been nasty or snappy but she is definitely perturbed by their presence.  Roux is an effective guard dog but is not overly vocal. She is a great dog who seems to adapt to new situations easily.

We are looking for an adult only home or one with sensible teenage children.
