[singlepic id=5133 w=320 h=240 float=left]Henry, is 3 years old, cross breed, who came to the branch to find his forever home due to his owners’ change of circumstances. Henry has really calmed down and has become a lovely dog who is desperate to find his forever home he just needs someone to give him that chance
We are looking for a home with no young children as he is quite boisterous and could easily knock a child over in his excitement. It’s important that Henry finds a family who have large dog experience and the patience to train him properly. He will make a very handsome, head turning dog simply because of his large size and attractive good looks and he has calmed down a lot since coming to us. His dog walkers say that he walks well on a harness and is very responsive. Henry loves everyone and everything he meets and will make a brilliant family member for those with older children or whose children have flown the nest.
Henry has gone into foster care recently and this is what his foster family have said about Henry: ” What an amazing dog people are missing out on. Henry isn’t excitable in the house, he doesn’t jump up at you and is just a really nice dog. When we put him in the Land Rover to take him home he didn’t try to jump over the seats in front but just settled down and lay quietly until we got him to his temporary home with us. He’s good on the lead and gets on well with our other dogs including Hughie!. He’s house trained, eating well and a very handsome, lovable dog. He’s not as strong on the lead as one of our other dogs and I took all 3 out together on leads yesterday with no problems, his only problem is that he keeps bumping into barbed wire fencing instead of going under them :). He should be so easy to rehome that we are really surprised he’s still looking for his new family.”
