Kaya – Rehomed

[singlepic id=5291 w=320 h=240 float=left]Kaya is a 5 year old Northern Inuit.   She has come into our care due to her owner’s ill health.  She is a beautiful young lady who is very quiet and gentle, does not pull on the lead and has lived with another dog and a cat.  She has also lived with children.   The only thing with this lovely lady is that she will need a lot of grooming to keep her coat looking good and can be a little nervous.  We are ideally looking for a home where people know the breed.

Breed information:

The Northern Inuit is not suitable for first time dog owners.  They are not aggressive and are extremely versatile and intelligent but because they are so clever, they can be stubborn which can make them unsuitable for inexperienced families.  Any adopter should be capable of providing guidance and leadership to ensure a healthy, happy relationship within the family and in any social setting.

However, they can suffer from separation anxiety so its essential that this breed is not left alone all day for many hours whilst all the family is out at work and school/college during the working week.
