[singlepic id=4735 w=320 h=240 float=left]Winter is a 2 /3 month old female kitten who has come to the branch to find a new home. She was found by one of our volunteer dog fosterers tied up in a carrier bag next to Tesco’s supermarket, in Crown Point North Retail Park, Denton, in all the rain and hail of Saturday 9th November 2013. Poor Winter has been checked by one of our vets who has found severe blistering in and around her mouth which may be due to chemical burns or a very poisonous plant. Unfortunately whoever abandoned her wasn’t prepared to take her to a vet for treatment and we are appealing for information from members of the public who may have witnessed her being abandoned or recognise this little girl. Please ring our inspectors via the RSPCA’s cruelty line on 0300 1234 999 (calls charged at local rate).
Winter is understandably not very well at the moment and is hoping someone will offer her a loving home to recover from the trauma of being abandoned in the rain and hail at the weekend. She is currently receiving veterinary treatment for her very sore mouth and is understandably, very scared and hides away. But with lots of love and patience from a kind and caring family she will learn to trust humans once more.
The branch is appealing for financial help in the form of donations to fund her continued veterinary treatment and that of some of the other animals in our care.
