[singlepic id=2477 w=320 h=240 float=left]Mindy – is what the French would call “jolie lairde”, meaning “pretty-ugly”, with her one ear up and one ear down, and her sticky out jaw, but she has a very beautiful soul. She is approximately 5 years old and an American Bulldog who came to the branch to find a new family solely due to her previous owner’s change in circumstances. Mindy does have a delicate skin which is controlled with diet and she is house trained and loves going for walks. Mindy has been with us since mid March and we have seen her true nature begin to show itself.
Our volunteers have found her to be a real character and they say she is “simply adorable”.
Mindy really likes people and the kennel staff have put her out to play with many other sizes and breeds of dogs and she does not have a problem with any of them. The branch is looking for an experience large dog family who will love Mindy for her personality and take pride in her tender loving nature.

Mindy is currently in foster and this is what they have to say about her “We all have all fallen in love with Mindy Moo as she has been nick named. Mindy has settled well with our family and has seen nothing but a gentle soul with loads of love to give, she loves her walks and is very eager to go on walks and has met the pack of dogs my puppy plays with and has fitted in well. Mindy doesn’t pull on the lead and is happy to walk at you’re pace and she understands basic commands and is happy to sit, lay down, drop it and wait – on command. We have no worries about leaving Mindy alone whilst I work as Mindy and my puppy get on well. Mindy is fully house trained and is currently teaching my puppy to be dry in the day”.
