[singlepic id=2476 w=320 h=240 float=left]Betty is a very pretty black cat who was rescued as a stray with an appalling collar injury and taken to the RSPCA’s Greater Manchester Animal Hospital.  This type of injury is seen all too often and we would urge people if they need to collar their cats to use the fast release safety type collar to prevent this injury happening.

Luckily Betty’s deep cut, caused by her collar getting stuck under her arm pit, has healed very well as can be seen from her photo. She is looking forward to meeting her very special person or family who will take her home.

Betty is thought to be between 18 months and 2 years of age.
