Betty and Bertha – Rehomed

[singlepic id=1961 w=320 h=240 float=left]Betty and Bertha first came to us at the beginning of November 2012 and are probably mother and daughter.   They are advancing on in years (approximately 9 and 10) but still have a lot of life left in them and they love to go for a walk and then a sleep.   They have now had there teeth cleaned and started their vaccinations been microchipped.   They have coped with it all wonderfully, not a murmur from them.   They also travel really well in the car and are currently living with a foster family who say this about them.

Betty and Bertha are two very sweet and cuddly little lap dogs who would happily snooze on your knee and be fussed over all day.  We haven’t seen an ounce of aggression in them and they have been absolutely fantastic with my two children (aged 10 and 12) and even loved being crowded and fussed over by 5 children at once (ages 4 – 12)!  In fact, they often prefer to sit with my children rather than the adults.  They may be older in years but they still enjoy their walks and then settling down to snooze for the rest of the day.  They are very easy to control on their leads but they do get excited when other dogs pass and may bark and may also chase birds etc so probably best to avoid small furries.  They are both house trained.  They don’t seem to know too many commands but they are so small, calm and well behaved that it hasn’t caused any problems.  I am working on this with them and they are beginning to pick them up.  Overall, these two will be fantastic company for their new owners and as we have discovered, anyone that meets them will fall for them and comment on how lovely and well behaved they are.
