[singlepic id=1996 w=320 h=240 float=left]Having never had a cat the branch and i agreed that adopting an older cat might be best for me. I adopted Flash who is now 5 years old and was cat of the month at the time.   Maybe he was overlooked because he’s an older cat or maybe cause hes a black cat I dont really know but it was my good fortune because I can’t emphasise enough the beautiful gentle nature of Flash.

He enjoys going out and likes to return home about every 20 minutes, I think he just makes sure everything’s the same then he goes out again.  He enjoys playing with a rubber ball attached to a string then likes to hide and pounce on it, so we play this game for 20 minutes most days.

As a first time cat owner, I was a little nervous when I first took him home but he settled in straight away and I had nothing to worry about he was a gem and I think it was him looking after me.   I wouldn’t be without him now and am as excited now as when I first took him home and love sharing my home with this lovely cat.

My preference is to keep him in at night and living alone he’s great company.
