Henry JRT – Rehomed

[singlepic id=1855 w=320 h=240 float=left] Henry is a broken coated Jack Russell Terrier.

Are you active? Do you enjoy walks out and about? Are you looking for a four legged shadow who doesn’t want to leave your side?

Henry is approximately 6 years old and originally came to us from another branch after his owner had died. It is believed Henry spent some time in the house with the deceased owner. Henry was rehomed approximately 12 months ago but has sadly been returned to find a new home with someone really special. Read on to find out more.

Henry is a very cute, bright and very loving little dog. He can charm your socks off with tricks. But, due to the circumstances of his previous home he carries some baggage which he needs help with. Henry suffers from a high level of separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone at home or in another room. This results in some unwanted behaviours (howling, scratching, lying on tables, climbing onto chairs and window sills). Henry needs someone who will open up their home to him and be forgiving of his odd habits while also helping to work through and/or manage them.

Henry will need careful introduction to other dogs. He is not keen on some dogs (male) but has been good with others (such as Sandy, a female) in kennels. It could be what he needs is to live in a home with another dog that he gets on with. Dogs can learn so much from each other and more importantly can take a lot of comfort from having a confident, calm canine companion.

Henry will not be rehomed to where there will be young children in the home (12yrs+ only)

Our volunteers can provide more information about Henry and answer any questions. If you would like to arrange to meet him please just get in touch with no obligation.
