Tyra – Rehomed

[singlepic id=1718 w=320 h=240 float=left]Tyra is a Rottweiler and she will be 5 in November.  We have been asked to rehome her (1/8/12) due to her owner working longer hours and not being able to take her out.

Tyra is a lovely girl who is very friendly and good with other dogs, but we think she would prefer to be an only dog. She is used to living with children but because of her size she will not be rehomed with very young children, she is house trained and knows a lot of commands.  She also walks lovely off the lead.  Tyra is in foster care and this is what her fosterer says about her

Tyra is a lovely dog but she does want a lot of attention due to being left for many hours, she loves going for walks and she’s great on and of the lead, knows a lot of commands but doesn’t always listen so still needs some work. Friendly with other dogs and loves kids. Not sure she would suit a house with other dogs because she wants all the attention on her but I’m sure if people gave her the time to settle in she would be fine. All in all a really nice dog just needs someone with a bit of time and patience.  House trained, and really good company.

Tyra likes to play with a ball and just generally have fun
