Lassie – who found her forever home

[singlepic id=1577 w=320 h=240 float=left]I am a rough collie and was 3 in 2009, when the RSPCA took me in, because my family were not looking after me properly and I was very thin.
Gail, from the RSPCA, brought someone to see me a few days later and I wrapped my paws around his feet so he knew how much I wanted him to take me home and be my new daddy.

The RSPCA said that I had been neglected and was not used to going for walks or playing with toys or other dogs. They said I was nervous and needed lots of TLC and socialising, so we go to a training club and a pet crèche where I can play with the other dogs and have people make a fuss of me.

I passed my good citizens award and came top in my class because I wanted my daddy to be proud of me and so I could be allowed to do the agility training, as the tunnels and hoops looked like fun.

I am helping the new dogs with their training by showing them what to do and my daddy says that I am the best thing in his life because I am wonderful, calm, sweet natured, fun loving, attentive, happy, funny, clever, rarely bark and even try to talk, the cheek!

I am a very happy girl and have a friend next door called Simpson, who is a Staffy, and we play together every day.

Have to go, need to give daddy a kiss so I can have a chew.
