[singlepic id=851 w=320 h=240 float=left] Max is an older but very active and healthy Collie cross, who may have some Australian Heeler in his mix. His previous owner sadly died and left Max all alone, so he has come into branch care to find an experienced collie owner and an adult only home.

Max loves everyone and everything, and is house trained.  However as Max was somewhat spoilt by the elderly lady who he shared his home with he is very set in his ways and will need someone prepared to be patient but firm with him and who believes in the reward based training methods.

Max is a very active dog who would love to be your walking or hiking companion, and at 9 years of age is really only middle-aged as so many collie crosses live full and healthy lives well into their mid or even late teens.

Children: teenage (simply due to his age)
