Darcy (Rehomed)

[singlepic id=699 w=320 h=240 float=left]Darcy (formerly Suzie) is a six month old cross breed puppy.  She is currently living with a foster family who say she is extremely playful and lively. Darcy is a bright girl who knows several commands and is house trained but because she didn’t have a great start in life (her ‘breeder’ took her to the pound with her brothers and sisters!) she has not quite got out of the puppy nipping stage. She will need someone with lots of patience to help her learn good doggy skills and we are looking someone who will make a commitment to her training (ie puppy classes) and make sure she gets plenty of daily exercise and socialisation with other dogs.

Sharing Darcy’s foster home are 1 very patient older dog, 2 rats and 3 (dog trained) children aged 6, 7 and 13. We feel her permanent home should have no small children because at the moment she is still a very excitable puppy and does not understand that jumping up and using her puppy mouth is not desireable behaviour. With the correct training, being a bright girl, she will learn proper doggy manners and be a wonderful companion.

Darcy is an adorable pup with lots of character. We think the photo’s below capture her character perfectly.
