Arthur – Rehomed

[singlepic id=328 w=320 h=240 float=left]Arthur is a lurcher approximately 3 years old. He is a very laid back gentleman who is quite happy to give kisses out.

We would not rehome him with cats because of his lurcher nature. He is house trained and is a typical couch potato. Below is a write up from Arthur’s foster family.

“Arthur is a lovely dog, very quiet and well behaved in the house. He is good with children and adults and is very gentle, tolerant and affectionate. He loves his walks (long or short) and walks quite well on the lead. He does exhibit aggression towards other dogs. When he’s not walking he loves to snooze, especially if you stroke his tummy at the same time. He is very good at learning house rules and knows which chairs he is allowed on and which not! He has been left in the house for short periods (3 hours) and has been good (he likes to tidy the slippers up occasionally!). He is good in the car and will settle down for a snooze on the journey – sometimes you wonder if you forgot to put him in! He will play a little with balls etc. but his favourite game is chase and if you join in this game with him he can jump up and be a bit mouthy but he will stop when you tell him. He is a great companion and wags his tail as soon as you look at him.”
