[nggallery id=76]Sox who used to be called Babe spent 6 years of her life in the the care of Audenshaw Dogs and Cats Rescue when her first owners gave her up for adoption before she was 1 year old. Condemned to living a life in squalid conditions she was at long last rescued by RSPCA Inspectors, and came to the branch to find a new family to call her own.
She has certainly seen lots of the bright new world since then, and just before Christmas 2010 Sox’s new family sent us this note in her own words.
“Here I am in my forever home and looking forward to Christmas when I will probably get more treats?! My Mum says tht I am getting to be quite a well behaved lady (well…. most of the time). I love travellling, me, Mum and Dad went to Ireland for our holidays. The ferry was not trouble. I had a good walk round, something to eat and slept the rest of the way. Here is a photo of me and my friend Scout from the farm who I played with on the beach.
Must go now, as Dad is taking me out in the snow. We have great fun and then come home for breakfast. Lots of Love and Licks, Sox (nee Babe).
