[singlepic id=107 w=320 h=240 float=right]Hello everyone, Just a quick update to let you know that I am doing very well, thank you, as I am getting my Mum really well trained.

I am now well and truly under her skin! As you can see from the photo she does like to sit under me as I keep her very warm on winter nights and once I am sat on her she has a job to get me off until I am good and ready.

I am still working on getting into her bed though as she calls me a big heffalump when I try……..which is most nights. I may seem laid back but I am very persistent. I have been to the vet recently as I caught my dew claw while I was running about at Aunty Julie’s while I was on holiday there. It was very sore so I went to the vet to get it snipped off so it is fine now. I made sure that Aunty Julie became besotted with me too, so much so that she keeps calling my Mum a “jammy pig” because I live with her and not Aunty Julie who said that I make her feel very tall and proud when we are out walking because that is how I am. She is so right of course !!

On my walks with Mum I know the exact tree where 4 squirrels appear to live so I do like to have a look at them most days when I squeal at them a bit just to let them know if I could get off my lead there would be less of them. They don’t take much notice of me really but I would show them if I could. Apart from when I see a squirrel or cat I have learnt to walk to heel and I suppose I have become a bit more doggy as I now take great pleasure in sniffing everything as well as looking at it and I like to get my Mum going by peeing up every gatepost, tree, hedge and postbox I can find. I didn’t do that at first because I was too busy looking where I was going but now I know my new home town pretty well so I can take my time.

Anyway, I am quite tired now after writing this so I will go to choose a bed to have a nap in. I really like the one next to Mum’s chair but there are several around the house to choose from.
