[singlepic id=245 w=320 h=240 float=right]We promised Doris when we took Minstrel & May (now Rusty & Zola) back in May 2009 that we would write & send some photos to update her on their progress.

They were both around 2 months old when we took them and as you can see from the photo were very tiny, only just reaching up to the legs of our coffee table.

They were not from the same litter but Doris had placed them together as she was struggling to find a home for Rusty (black cats were not in demand apparently) and so she put him with little Zola (who was very popular) to see if they could be homed together. When we first saw them Rusty came running all the way up my leg and we fell in love with them instantly.

[nggallery id=37]They are now around 10 months old and have grown into a very beautiful pair. Zola is the ‘supermodel’ cat with a slim build and pretty face; whereas Rusty has developed into a handsome & muscular young lad.

We would like to thanks Doris very much for allowing us to take them as we couldn’t imagine them being anywhere else! They are both very affectionate and love to play ‘fetch’ with their toys (no longer just a dogs game!) They also loved their first Christmas and were very spoilt (especially by their two Nana’s!)
