Milly who was feeling middle-aged at 8 years of age, has now found a new lease of life and a new family who love her.[nggallery id=11]

Hi, this is Milly. I went to my wonderful new home in beautiful Holmfirth in May 2010 to my new Mum Nancy, Dad Morris and Auntie June. I have lots of friends who want to come to see me or want to look after me if Mum and Dad have to go out for longer than the normal shopping trip. I have lots of garden to run about in. Sometimes I just sit and sunbathe, other times I am on “cat patrol” (which is really brave, when most cats are bigger than me!).

I went to a grooming parlour but they put me in a cage afterwards whilst Mum and Dad collected me and I was really scared and upset about this. So, in future the lady groomer is coming to my house to groom me.(Clever move eh!)

My best friend is Sophie she comes to see me regularly (when she is not at school) and takes me for a walk. We go back to her house and we sit on her bed and she tells me all about school. I am so happy, I just can’t believe I have got such a lovely home with family and friends who love me so much. Bye for now. Milly.
