Just thought I’d drop you a line or three to let you know how I am settling in my new home! When I first arrived, I felt a bit down in the paws as all the other cats seemed to have lots of visitors but I didn’t get any. Deep down I worried that my cauliflower ear may put off any prospective families. Even when I was put on the web as ‘Cat of the month’, I still didn’t attract any attention. So you can imagine how happy I was to be picked by the first people who came to see me! My Mummy and Daddy said it was love at first sight and that my cauliflower ear only adds to my charm! Although I was a bit apprehensive at first coming into an unfamiliar home, especially with a new lively little sister, I have soon settled in! I was so shy when I first arrived and spent the first few days behind the hi fi and I wouldn’t even be coaxed out with food! But with a bit of patience and tlc, I’ve soon found my paws! My sister’s like my new best friend and she feeds me my breakfast and tea every day! You can just see her pink arm in my first photo. I spend most of my day sleeping under my Mummy and Daddy’s bed but I come alive at night and go in and out of my cat flap to explore!

I can’t thank all the staff enough for looking after me until I found a new loving home. I’m off now to have my bedtime milk! Purrrr!!!! Love George xxx
