Chase enjoying the sunshine with his new family

[nggallery id=18]After spending many months with Doris caring for him at the RSPCA we went along to meet Chase and fell in love with him immediately! Sadly, Chase had had a bad accident and lost one eye but we are happy to report that it has now completely healed and he does not let this stop him exploring and having fun! He now rules the house and really does have his own unique personality. He is a very bold little cat and at first did not like to show his softer side, however as the weeks have passed he has become a real softie and loves being stroked and tickled under his chin and spends the night time curled up at the end of the bed. Knowing Chase’s history we were apprehensive about letting him out for the first time but he is very good and knows his boundaries and has made friends with the local cats. Over the summer he has loved basking in the sun in the back garden, as you can see in the photo. We love Chase to bits and cant imagine being without him now. We are so grateful to Doris and the team who cared for him so well after his terrible ordeal and for allowing us to adopt such a beautiful cat.
