Milou is enjoying life with his new family

[singlepic id=251 w=320 h=240 float=right]Milou’s new family sent this email to the branch:

When we adopted Milou (formerly known as Kipper) Doris asked that we send some photos of him in his new home. We adopted him at 8 weeks (first photo) and he is 9 months old now so it seems a good time to write.

Milou was fostered by Carol in her home and we would like to thank you for giving him such an excellent start in life. He is the most charming cat you could imagine. He adores our other cat Poppy and recognises her as Queen of the household, which suits Poppy. You can see him here playing the rug game, this involves hiding under the rug until Poppy pounces on him (she’s a hefty cat) and then they chase each other until Poppy gets fed up, Milou never does. We call him “Milou Titchmarsh” because like his namesake his motto is “enjoy your garden” and Milou certainly does, he brings in all manner of playthings: rose petals (charming), live bees (worrying), live worms (yuck) and a large collection of autumn leaves, elastic bands!! and feathers (his and Poppy’s favourite) but fortunately no birds.

We are very grateful to the branch (especially Carol and Doris) for helping us to adopted such a lovely cat, and we think that you do a great job. Kind Regards and Happy Christmas to you and the cats and dogs in your care, lets hope they find good homes in the New Year
